• Hi, I feel like I’m going mad here.
I’ve been running a multisite installation for years with 3 sites. I recently added a 4th site and I cannot get it to appear under the ‘my sites’ menu. All the support online just says to make sure that my admin user is added to the new site, which it definitely is. I’ve even tried removing my user and re-added it.
I’ve just made a 5th site called ‘test.’ and it instantly appears in the ‘my sites’ list despite having being made in the exact same way as the missing one!

I’ve also tried it on different browsers, different computers and cleared caches etc.

    What am I missing here?

  • Just a hunch, but could it have something to do with the way you’ve named site 4? I’ve had similar things happen to me with images and posts that conflict when they have the same name.

I did think that so tried renaming site 4 and it still didn’t appear. Even with the original name the site was fully functional with no conflicts.

Hi @mhaslamtech, that sounds frustrating. I found a reference where they indeed mention to add yourself as an admin, not just a super-admin: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/q/342030/92868, so it sounds like you’ve tried that already. Here is another one saying essentially the same thing: https://stackoverflow.com/q/17472866/3218102.

You might also try switching plugins on and off to eliminate any conflicts there, although I can’t see how that would affect only one site, but you never know.

Apart from that I don’t have any further ideas at the moment…
