I want to sync a page between two subsites from two multisite networks. Example URL:

    mydomain.com/subsite/subdirectory-1/mypage/

After syncing, the above page shows up on target site. Cool. What I notice is that there’s a page gone missing from the target site. It has the same slug but lives under a different sub directory:

    mydomain.com/subsite/subdirectory-2/mypage/

So I re-sync the page that went missing. After that my fist page is gone.

The plugin somehow got things mixed up. It’s too chancy and unstable. I’d have to stop using it for now before it causes more damage.

    Thanks for the response.

I get the same response approach from you folks in a couple other instances where you ask to send an email or put in support ticket, etc. While it sounds good here for other users as if you are taking care of the issues when in fact there’s little follow through in direct conversation to really get things resolved – for the record.

    Hello Steven,

We went back and reviewed our tickets and found that we replied after 24 hours of receiving it asking for logs so that we can review the issue. We did not receive a reply back with the requested logs. Maybe the email we sent you went in your SPAM folder. We want to help but need logs to see why you are having this issue.

    hello Gregg,

In another case, I have replied in email with requested log data in March. There was further response or followup from your team after that even with my follow up email in late April.

Email communication can be unreliable. I’d suggest to either resolve the matter here on this platform or using another forum platform managed by your company.

    Hello Steven,

We are surprised as we use HelpScout to track emails and tickets and we get tickets daily. But in regards to your issue we really need the logs to determine how we can resolve this for you. Please send the logs to [email protected] and I will look for it. Thank you.

    Thanks for the response, Gregg.

That’s great your team is using a ticket system internally. The missing link is that customer facing channel still relies on email, hence, we’re having this issue of you not receiving my email, which I have sent with the logs you asked. I already deleted my log file after sending it and can’t generate a new one as I’m not using the plugin for that same project at the moment.

On the other hand, if I can log into your ticket system just like how we do with this WP support system, the dialog thread is there for everyone to see. There are no ‘I didn’t receive…’ and ‘I already sent…’ issues.

Anyhow, I’m hoping multisite sync would be improved and more reliable in future versions of the plugin. If this is a common issue enough, there’s a good chance you are able to collect the logs you need from other users. And if my case is unique, no worries, I won’t be a pest. ??
