• There is no documentation. In plugin description there is just a link to so called documentation that is just bunch of tutorial of doing specific stuff that are very scarce and targeted to people who already know how to use it. Nothing for first time users, to learn how to actually begin with plugin, or at least nothing that can be easily found.

    Good day @pedjas

Thank you for your feedback with this topic. Since Custom Post Type UI is largely a graphical UI for the arguments used for the register_post_type() and register_taxonomy() functions, we intentionally opted out of re-creating documentation provided by the following WordPress Developer resources:

We do try to make sure our UI help text is similar or matching to the help text in the arguments documentation listed at those links.

Instead, we focused our own documentation around common questions and issues we found our users asking about, to try and help give a leg up in using the content after registration.

That said, if you feel like there’s room that we could improve on with pointing out the official WordPress documentation links for the registration functions, then we can definitely look into helping there.

What are your thoughts on that type of clarification?
