One more question about theme names

  • Sorry about this but I just have one more question about the file names that gets displayed in the theme editor in the wp-admin file. What dictates the order they appear? I want them to come up alphabetically but they come up in a order which I can’t figure out. I am pretty sure it’s not last modified/by file size/by file name/or by file description.

  • Are you meaning in the Presentation page? Mine show alpha order….

    They’re listed “directory style”, that is alphabetical by extension first, then filename.

    Fount out how to do it! Mine might be a little different because I still use some coding from Wp 1.2. But mine is organized by when they were uploaded into the directory. I deleted all the files in the theme directory and uploaded them one by one and woila! Works perfectly. Thanks for all your help though, and Kafkaesqui I would’ve never found the file without your help. ??
