    Hello,

I am administrating a site that’s running WPGlobus (Version 1.9.16), WPGlobus Plus (Version 1.1.41), WPGlobus Translate Options (Version 1.5.7) and WPGlobus for WPBakery Visual Composer (Version 1.4.1).

WP Bakery Visual Composer is version 5.2 on this site.

I am having a problem, where if a new post is translated to another language (This site uses two languages), then the original content/language of the translated post is being overwritten.

The owner of the site recently updated some plugins on their own, I don’t know which ones (this is a large company, and no one really knows), but I suspect that visual composer was one of these.

Are there any known conflicts with the versions of the plugins that I have installed, or do you think that the issue is unrelated to this?

WPGlobus for WPBakery Visual Composer (Version 1.4.1)
was tested with WPBakery 5.4 and 5.5
So you can downgrade WPGlobus for WPBakery Visual Composer
    or upgrade WPBakery VC

    Alright, thank you very much.

    Quick follow-up question:

If bad comes to worse, and I have to migrate their content to a new installation, how do I go about exporting the additional language versions of the different posts in the best way?

If I install WPGlobus on a separate WP installation, will the imported posts, that I exported using the function in the WP core copy the plugin data as well?

    Or,

Will I have to manually copy/paste all the content in the other language?

As for me I do it with Export/Import in phpMyAdmin.
Additional language texts are saved in one row with default language and
have language marks to divide like {:en}En text{:}{:de}De text{:}.
As I understand there is no difference to copy these rows.
WPGlobus is saving options in wp_options table and here you should make sure
    that options will be copied.

    Of course!

Thanks, you saved me a LOT of time!
