    Hi,

Unfortunately, there are often one or more images missing.

    This image cannot be found:

    https://.../wp-content/uploads/sb-instagram-feed-images/..._nfull.jpg

But this image (the same but in low quality) can:

    https://.../wp-content/uploads/sb-instagram-feed-images/..._nlow.jpg

For some reason, this only happens to some of 6 images in my feed. Not always at the same position.

What do I have to do to fix this?

    WordPress Version: 5.8
    PHP Version: 7.4.22
    Smash Balloon Instagram Feed: 2.9.2

    Thanks & regards,
    Mark

  • This is happening to me too.

Also, I get many times an error “the feed can’t be updated” with this message:

http_request_failed – cURL error 7: Failed to connect to graph.facebook.com port 443: Connection timed out

    Hi @mschmale,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. Please try deleting the plugin cache by navigating to Instagram feed > Customize > scroll to the Misc section > click the buttons “Reset Resized Images” and “Clear Backup Cache“.

If that does not work please contact us using our support form here and share your system information so we can troubleshoot this further.

    Hey @efegea,

The error you are getting is not related to the issue @mschmale is having; The cURL error 7 usually means that your server may have restrictions on connecting to Instagram API; if this is happening while you try to connect your account to the plugin, please try again after 10 minutes as this can be a temporary Instagram issue.

If this doesn’t resolve the problem or it’s intermittent, try contacting your host and mentioning that you see this error when connecting to the Instagram API like this example: error http_request_failed – cURL error 7: Failed to connect to api.instagram.com port 443 Connection timed out when trying to make remote connections to api.instagram.com/. Our plugin requires an unrestricted connection to graph.facebook.com, api.instagram.com, and graph.instagram.com to work properly.
