We have a site that uses the same gallery on two different pages:

    https://casaplayamaya.com/
    https://casaplayamaya.com/property-info

The galleries each use the “single thumbnail gallery” template, which is how they are displayed on the first page, https://casaplayamaya.com/.

On the second page, “Property Info”, we use a shortcode to override the way the gallery looks, template=”image-viewer”. Since this is a live site, only the “Casita 4” gallery on the “Property Info” page is embedded with the template=”image-viewer” override in the shortcode so you should look at that one.

The gallery looks fine, but when you click on the gallery only a single image opens, not the lightbox.

    I’ve cleared the site cache
I’ve cleared the gallery html and css caches
On foobox, I’ve tried disable other lightboxes and “exclude foobox assets” is not checked.

    Thanks in advance!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

To note: we are embedding the shortcode in an Avada page builder. Going to investigate that.

Disabled lightbox in Avada and no luck.

    Hi @jaypozo,

    Thanks for contacting FooPlugins.

Would you please edit your “Casita 4” gallery and confirm under General settings that you have the Lightbox option set to “FooBox”?

If you do and FooBox is still not being triggered please let me know and we’ll look into this further for you.

Great looking site by the way!

Hi @phillcoxon thanks for the response. The gallery settings for “Casita 4” did already have the Lightbox option set to “FooBox”.

    Thanks

    Hi @jaypozo,

    Apologies for the delay.

@steveush – are you able to review this and give feedback on why FooBox isn’t opening for the single thumbnail gallery template on https://casaplayamaya.com/property-info/ under “Casita Four”?

    Thanks.

    Hi @jaypozo,

This is definitely something to do with the General > Lightbox option. The gallery at the moment is being output with the CSS class foogallery-lightbox-unknown where it should be foogallery-lightbox-foobox if the setting were properly saved/output.

Previously you said the General > Lightbox was already set to FooBox, could you please try setting it to another value, saving and then setting it back? The value of unknown is only used by the gallery if it thinks the option has not been set.

If switching the option and saving again does not work then the issue may lie in the shortcode overrides themselves. For that our PHP developer will need to take a look to figure out how the value is being lost.

    Thanks

    hi @jaypozo

I think I know why this is happening. The settings for the gallery are stored in postmeta and use the name of the gallery template in their name, so when you change the gallery template, it is loosing setting for the lightbox (and everything else).

I will need to build in a fix to cater for this. I have added it to the backlog and it will be released in the next version

Hi there, any idea when that update will be release? Thanks!

@bradvin @steveush @phillcoxon would love to know a timeline on this please so we can plan something in the interim if needed. Thanks

@jaypozo – I have fixed this bug, and it will be released in the next version of the plugin. We are busy with a major release, so we are busy testing. In the meantime, you can test the new version by downloading from here : https://we.tl/t-wDu2HK0sWR

Let me know if it resolves your issue. I did test you exact scenario but is always good to get confirmation
