    Hi,

Just wondering is it possible to have one filter for multiple tables which both contain a column called “Year”.

I would like to have a dropdown filter at the top of the page called “Year” where a user would select a year and then multiple tables below get populated with data for that year. Both tables have a common column which is hidden called “Year”.

    For example:

Filter: Year Dropdown – user selects 2013

Table 1 shows all data for year 2013

Table 2 shows all data for year 2013

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’m not aware of an existing solution, here, sorry ??
The TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/ can add dropdowns, but those are only applied to a single table. Making this work for multiple tables at the same time would require modifications in the JS code of that Extension, I guess. As I didn’t develop that JS code, but only made it available as a TablePress Extension, I can’t really help with that, though ?? Sorry.

    Regards,
    Tobias
