One Feature from Perfect!

  • Works perfectly. Lots of options already in there to suit most people. Very easy to use.

    The only thing I’d like is the option to take a random square crop from a featured image to use as a thumbnail rather than all-or-nothing.

    I did not understand your wish. What is a random square crop? What is the difference to the current way?

    Hi Martin. Thanks for the quick response!

    I love that there’s the option of making the featured image into a thumbnail. But featured images are usually not square and thumbnails usually are. So when the whole image is used it (obviously) gets distorted along the way.

    So in a perfect world (and I don’t think this is even possible!) instead of using the whole of the featured image it would only use a small part of it. So it automatically generates a thumbnail size image using a part of the feature. I’m not sure I can explain it very well ??

    You mean “cropping an image”. Great advice! I am looking for solutions.
