One domain, two blogs, same sidebar?

  • Here goes kids,

    I have one site, https://www.q-portland.com, WP is in the root. A second instance (with a different database) is in a folder called /guide (www.q-portland.com/guide/).

    I want the sidebar used on the main site, to be the sidebar you see on the WP in /guide. I’m thinking I have to delete the get_sidebar and use include but I can’t figure out how.

    Problem two: I want to include a second “categories” widget on the /guide that pulls from the db of the /guide version of WP

    Am I insane? Any ideas?
