    I am trying to create one click upsell. But the real one! Flow goes like this: Sales page – Checkout – Upsell – Thank you page.

    So when customer comes to Sales page he will click BUY button, that takes him to checkout page where he enters payment info. That payment info needs to be saved for the next page – upsell. So when customer click Pay Now he pays and is redirected to Upsell. Now we come to the issue part: when client decides to buy on upsell page I want it to just buy with the previous payment info he entered, without need to confirm anything or enter payment info again.

    This was available with Reference transactions, now is not anymore.

    What should I do?

    Are you building this upsell, or are you using any third-party plugins?
    PayPal Payments doesn’t do anything specific in regards to upsells. But it implements Vaulting, which in theory, could be utilized for one-click upsells.

    When Vaulting is enabled, PayPal saves the buyer’s PayPal account on the website for subsequent payments. Instead of the normal PayPal button, the buyer is presented a special button with their email address.
    On the checkout page, clicking this button is an instant payment confirmation.

    Vaulting is more flexible than “regular Reference Transactions” as the buyer can use a vaulted payment method for one-click payment confirmation without having to log in regardless or whether or not the merchant has Reference Transactions available.
    Reference Transactions would allow the merchant to charge a user’s vaulted payment method without them manually confirming the payment through the one-click button.

    But as mentioned above, PayPal Payments doesn’t do anything specifically to support upsells, so you would need to build your own logic that takes advantage of vaulted payment methods, like the subscriptions module, for example.
