I have been reading a lot of the comments and found a few issues. Question is why do you need the plugin? You can close comments on any page or post from the dashboard with a few clicks. Yeah, not as easy as 1 click, but it is built in, and it takes about 30 seconds to do. Go to the page or post. Click EDIT. Click SCREEN OPTIONS at top of page, and click DISCUSSION. Click UPDATE. Go to the bottom of the Post and uncheck the comments and track backs boxes if you want. Click UPDATE. Done. OK that’s about 7-8 clicks, but it works and you don’t have to worry about bugs.
