Once made forms don't show in backend, altough it says there are form there

    AS in the title, once I have made the form if I leave the areas where I can add fields I cannot get back there as it says there are no forms present even though it shows the number of forms I’ve made right next to it.

    Also unrelated, got a form set up for a recruitment website with two drop down fields, the issue I’m having is if the fields are left unchanged the search result comes back with nothing, shouldn’t it show all the results?

    the issue I’m having is if the fields are left unchanged the search result comes back with nothing, shouldn’t it show all the results?

    Not understand as well. What result template do you use?

    The 2nd issue, I hadn’t created a results template. However when I run a search with a specific dropdown item selected it would show results. I presumed if nothing was selected it would show all results?

    There are two types of result template, default is using your theme’s search.php template (same as the default search). Anyway, yes if nothing was selected, it will show all results.

    Judging by the issues that yo described, it is likely there is likely something wrong with you wp site. Maybe there is plugin conflict or database issue.
