Once again: nonce

    The annoying nonce problem again. It’s driving me crazy because it’s ruining my caching strategy (flyingpress + full page cache on Cloudflare Enterprise via rocket.net).

    I’ve read the documentation but deleting the cache on a well visited website every 24 hours just because of the Rate my Post nonce is crazy.

    It’s enough for me if the cache is deleted every 1 – 2 weeks. It’s totally fine with me that the ratings that were made during this time are only displayed afterwards. The only important thing for me is that you can rate all the time!

    Is it possible to extend the lifetime of “rmp_public_nonce” using a filter? And only for this one?

    It was also asked whether this nonce is absolutely necessary. This solution would be the best for me, but it is not update-proof.

    Is Rate my Post structured in such a way that it is not safe without a nonce?
    If so, is it possible to deactivate the “rmp_public_nonce” via a filter?

    Sorry if I’m annoying. But I would like to find a solution to keep the cache running. I would hate to uninstall the plugin.

    If you are a paid customer, happy to make changes to the plugin to include a filter to totally disable nonce checks.

    I can understand that you want and need to earn money, but I don’t need the Pro functions.

    You wouldn’t do that for the free version? Not even for a one-off payment?

    Your offer also sounds to me now as if this “rmp_public_nonce” is not necessary at all. Otherwise you wouldn’t be offering it to me, would you?
