As was the case around 11 months ago, all jobs are switched to draft mode without my intervention. If I want to publish the jobs individually again, it only works if I click “Publish” two or three times.
The multiple function “Release selected jobs” also does not work.
I can’t remember how I solved the problem 11 months ago. The WPJM plugin is up to date. Who can help?

Currently, we are not aware of any issues with WP Job Manager that could cause the job listings to become draft by itself.

Regarding the issue of issues publishing the jobs, could you try these steps to temporarily disable all plugins and revert to a default theme?

    1. Install Health Check plugin on your site
    2. Download and install Twenty Twenty-Three on your site if not installed already
    3. Go to Installed Plugins. Click Troubleshoot on WP Job Manager
    4. Try publishing a job. Check if you encounter the same issue.
    5. Once you are done, go back to wp-admin and disable troubleshooting mode through the top bar.

Could the issue be that the jobs expired? This is controlled by the Listing Duration option in Job Manager settings under Job Submission — if that option is set, it’ll unpublish a job X days after its publication.

    Hello @raystark,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately the problem has not been solved.

Thank you also for this approach. However, the job is not over yet. The problem also arises when your jobs are entered.

Because of Christmas, I no longer bothered to solve the problem. But it still exists ??

So I’m open to new tips

The problem also arises when your jobs are entered.

Are you saying you’d like jobs to be immediately published when entered, and skip the draft stage all together? If that’s the case you’ll want to check your job submission settings: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/getting-started/setting-up-wp-job-manager/#job-submission-settings

Take a look at Moderate New Listings – If this is enabled, then new submissions will be inactive and look like a draft, pending admin approval. Only once approved by an admin (published) will they be visible on the frontend.

You can disable this if you’d like listings to show right away

Thank you, mobilefox, for the input. New and existing jobs are also removed from the list, whether they were saved directly or via the draft and only published afterwards. As an admin, I don’t have to approve the jobs and the settings are set accordingly.

Thanks for checking that out! I’m curious, were you also able to try this out? If so, how did it go?

Thanks mobilefox for the tip. It is interesting; Deric gave the same tip 4 weeks ago. I tried it back then and it didn’t work. I have now gone through the recommended steps again and the jobs have remained online or not in draft mode for a day. So the problem seems to have been solved – hope dies last!
Thank you everyone for the support!
    Best regards
    Ray
