On Themes Uploading …

  • i have got a theme 4 my blog ….
    and i upload it in the cPanal in wp-content/themes …
    i have 2 questions 2 ask :
    do i upload the Casading style sheet file ??
    or the zipped file of the theme ??
    —
    by the way :
    i uploaded the css file and nothing appear ??
    does that mean it’s wrong ???
    it’s from Deziner folio …
    what do u recommand to get themes from ?

  • When you download a theme zip, you have to unzip it and put ALL files (and folders) on your server in the themes folder, not just the stylesheet.

    like clicking on upload more and all files ? even the images ?
    sorry .. just acting Dumb lol

    ALL files that come with the zip-file you downloaded. Perhaps you can upload the zip-file and unzip it on the server? I usually just upload the complete folder, but that’s with an FTP cli?nt (like Filezilla.com).

    I don’t know how the upload function of your cpanel works, but the basis is, that when you download a theme zip and unzip it on your pc, you get a folder with files that ALL need to be on your server, including the folder. Then you will have yourblog.com/wp-content/themes/TheThemeYouWantToAdd/AllThemeFiles.

    How you get that done, I leave upto you.
