On the events tab, I have NOTHING in the events list

    Hi,
    Two questions:

    1) I don’t see any events in the events tab > events list
    Is this normal? Why is it even there?

    2) After installing the plugin, does it automatically send data to facebook or do I need to do anything?
    Meaning if I to create a custom audience of people seeing the cart page but not checking out, will i be able to see the people in Facebook?

    Regarding your questions:

    1. The Events tab is there in case you need to configure your own events. Here’s a help page: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/pixelyoursite-free-version/add-events

    2. Yes, the plugin automatically sends data to Facebook. It also fires several events tracking various actions, like comments, form submit. If you use WooCommerce it will fire all e-commerce specific events. You can create audiences based on these events and their parameters, or using URL based rules.

    I suggest you check your website with the Pixel Helper Chrome extension. You will see what events are fired and their parameters. It will give you an idea about what can be done in terms of Custom Audiences or Custom Conversions.
