• running 4.4 on a VPS running 4GB ram and plenty of SSd and bandwidth. but no matter what I do, I can not for the life of me get past the last step in setting up a course. when ever I hit the done button, the message says “Saving…” but never does anything else. and I let it sit there for like 15 minutes. I want this to work and think it has a lot of potential, but at this point I am at a loss on what to do? also, the courses link in the menu bar on the front end, doesn’t do as expected either, it said it created a courses page, but I don’t see one in my “all pages” admin area, and when ever I click the courses link in the menu of the front page, I get a page can not be found. I don’t want to review this and give a low rating if all this stuff can be explained or fixed.

    How are you doing today?

    Course not being able to get saved in the admin is most likely related to a plugin/theme conflict. I tested this on my sandbox site and I managed to create a course using WP 4.4 without any issues.

    Can you please try testing for conflicts by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen or CoursePress theme and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

    As for CoursePress pages linking to 404 can you please make sure you have Post Name selected for your permalinks structure in Settings -> Permalinks.

    ok, so I am running the course press theme, and the only two plugins I am running are the course press and the market press and now a new issue popped up now. I am stuck on step 2. no matter what I write in the course description field, it says the field is empty and is required, and I can’t continue to step 3. I’m sure this plug in is worth its salt, and I really want to buy it, but if I can’t even set up a course. I might have to move on to another LMS. please advise how to proceed with this issue.

    ok I guess since I can’t get any help on here I will just uninstall and find a different plug in. and I will submit a review saying as much. I got a hold of some one on the pro site in a live chat, but they didn’t offer to help. they just said they try to get to the free users when ever they can. I don’t know what part of I like the demo of the plug in, and it has a lot of great potential, and I “Will ” buy it if I got it to work, but apparently they won’t help me till I buy it. but would if I buy it and it still doesn’t work. its ok though there are other plugins out there. now I’m going to go write my review. sorry we couldn’t work this out, rather you couldn’t find the time to work it out.

    First of all it was me who you talked to via chat. That was our pre-sales chat where you can ask questions related to our premium products and services, sales chat is not for tech related questions that include debugging, if this was something rather simple I’d definitely try to give advice.

    It’s not that I didn’t want to help you there but for tech related questions we do have premium.wpmudev.org/forums/ and live support chat for premium members (for premium plugins) and this forum for free versions of our plugins.

    I definitely didn’t say that we do not want to help you unless you go with premium I just said that our response times on forum for our premium members are much quicker (since you complained about the response times) then on this forum here which I don’t see anything wrong with as these are paying members who are paying for a service which includes premium support.

    We have few staff members working on this forum for our free plugins as well, and our response times are usually less then one day which is pretty decent in my opinion.

    If you still need help with this as you said you’re looking to go for another plugin please let me know and I’ll be more then happy to help ??
