on sale block not working

    Hi,

    I have tried to use the on sale product block on one of the pages in my site.
    It returns the message: This block shows on-sale products. There are currently no discounted products in your store.
    There are however several products in store with a sale price.
    I have also tried to use a shortcode but that does not work either.
    I have tried to disable all other plugins and I have reverted to the WordPress theme. None of this makes any difference.
    Can you look into this please?

    I couldn’t reproduce the same issue on my test site which has the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, Blocks and Storefront theme – sale products show up properly using the on-sale product block and shortcode.

    Hi,

    Yes all sales prices have been set up correctly.
    I have also tried to disable all plugins and changed the theme, it still does not work.

    I have found a solution.
    If I take the sales price out of the products, save it and then put the sales price back in and save it, then it does show up in the on-sale products.
    Just resaving the product does not work, you need to take the price out and put it back in.
    Any idea why this might be happening?

    Glad to hear you’ve found a solution. This may have been a caching issue. Next time the same thing happens, clearing transients in WooCommerce > Status > Tools could help.
