I’m using Yoast SEO on many sites and I’ve never seen this issue before. I’m currently running my site with all plugins except Yoast disabled and the problem persists. I’m also running the 2017 theme

Basically, the meta description editor for Yoast on Posts and Pages shows no way to see the analysis or edit/add keywords. Meta editing is enabled in the Yoast settings and I’ve tried everything else I can think of. Here is a screenshot of what I’m seeing.

I do have a 404 error for /wp-includes/js/tinymce/skins/lightgray/skin.min.css.map but this is the only issue showing in my Console.

    Thanks,
    LP

Can you please confirm if you have the SEO and Readability Analysis enabled under SEO > General > Features?
Also, please check that your admin hasn’t disabled the SEO and Readability analysis for your user from the Users → All Users → Edit profile.
If the issue persists, can you confirm if it’s still happening with Yoast SEO 9.1?

I’ve been troubleshooting this problem for a few weeks and this is where the issue was.

Thank you! that was the issue! I guess when I changed one of the yoast settings, it disabled the readability and SEO analysis for my user account.
