    Hi,

The buttons works perfectly on desktop, but on mobile he opens the webbrowser and tells you to download WhatsApp instead of leading to the App of WhatsApp.

Can you tell me what to do or what is going wrong?

    Kind regards,

    Anne

  • Hello ackuiper

You must have different cache for desktop and mobile or reject agent mobile as described in readme file.

There are a few cache plugins already have this option, just need to check.

The WhatsApp function is working on mobile!
But when you use the samsung browser it leads you to WhatsApp app so that is good, but it doesn’t start the conversation directly. It is just showing your WhatsApp contactlist.

    Can you help?

Unfortunately there is no better api system available for WhatsApp yet.

A few browsers or agents mobile call their apps in different ways and it may cause some issue like this.

I notice this before with Facebook browser.
I’m not sure yet, but maybe Samsung updated something and it’s not working anymore.

Every time I can prevent or fix some issue I’ll update plugin, but I must to be honest.
There’s no much documentation about this in WhatsApp website and there’s a lot of mobile brand devices and models, a lot of updates every day… it’s not that easy.

I’ll try to run a few tests next week.

    I totally understand.

I hope you can fix those issues with your tests next week.

Is there a way to lock out those devices/browsers that doesn’t work?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I was wondering if you did some tests? And is it possible to lock out the samsung browser on mobiles if you could not solve it?

I’m really looking forward to your reply ??
