On mobile devices (IOS and Android) the customer doesn't return to paymodul

    On both Ipad and Android tablets, the customer after going to the SHM module at checkout, does not return to the payment module. The customer gets a white screen with following url:
    shop.esthetieknele.be/wc-api/shm-callback/?result=0

    When testing this on a Windows laptop, we do not have this problem. We have this issue on two different webshops.
    Could you fix this as we miss sales? Thanks in advance

    We have been informed of this issue.
    First analysis show this happens when your eshop is in HTTP.
    Since the SHM is in HTTPs, and since (most of) mobile browser do not support the HTTP<->HTTPs switch and vice-versa; the last page is not loaded because browser throws an error.

    Is this explanation in accordance with your findings ?

    If it is confirmed, we will have to ask bpost if SHM can be used in HTTP only …

    This is exactly the problem. It is a bit strange that de HTTP en HTTPs switch doesn’t work on mobile devices, because we never noticed problems when transferring from webshop to payment provider.

    Very good question!
    That’s because payment providers use a “GET” method to transfer the values from their own pages towards the webshop pages, while bpost SHM uses a “POST” method that -along with the HTTP(s) switch- generates an error in the browser.

    We will issue a v1.0.20 today. It fixes the bug for the payment page on mobile device.
    Can you please retest then and especially check whether you do not face any “conflict” with iDEAL plugin ?

    I have this problem again where wc-api/shm-callback/?result=0 is called after leaving the SHM module at checkout on mobile devices

    OK we check how to fix it while being still compliant with other behaviors of the plugin.
