On mobile, close tab by tapping anywhere on screen outside of tab area

When on a mobile, opening the tab from the left hand side is good. But the only way to close it again is by tapping on the tab icon. Tapping anywhere else outside of the tab does not close it. This is a different experience to the desktop version.
