On-Hold Orders via Stripe

    Hi,

    We use the following setup

    WooCommerce – 7.1.0
    WooCommerce Deposits by Webtomizer – to take deposits and customers can pay in full
    WooCommerce Stripe Gateway – 7.0.1

    We notice every day that orders (not all orders just some) so the status ‘On-Hold’ – when logging into stripe the payment has gone through successfully.

    This is for a deposit only or fully paid orders, not just one or the other.

    We then have to cross-check them manually in Stripe to make sure they say succeeded before marking them off as completed in WooCommerce, but we could have 300 orders some weeks and this is a bit of a time-consuming task for my team.

    Any ideas as to why they show as payment succeeded in the stripe dashboard but are on hold in woocommerce?

    To check your setup and understand what could be going on, please send us a copy of your your System Status; you can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’. Once you do this, paste in here your response.

    If I understand you correctly, the issue happens in conjunction with the use of the WooCommerce Deposits plugin, right?

    Have you tried disabling the WooCommerce Deposits plugin, replicating one of the orders and see if you are still facing the same issue afterwards?

    If so, then please provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
