    Dear Creator,

Thank you for your simple but awesome plugin!

Is it anyhow possible to integrate a link option to open it in MS Edge?

    Like this URL: microsoft-edge:https://yourdomain.tdl

I don’t want to force my users to download a specific browser, instead I want to redirect them to the pre installed (uninstallable) MS Edge Browser that comes with Windows 10.

Need this solution for a client.

    Thanks so far!

    Sincerely
    Marcel Fruntke

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I just found something out:

If I placed a normal link inside your URL field, everythings working like it should.
The anchor tag is getting a href=”https://yourdomain.tdl” with the set url in it.

However, if I was placing this: microsoft-edge:https://yourdomain.tdl in the URL field, it apears like nothing was written in it.
-> The anchor element is getting a empty href=”” with no URL at all.

Is that just a bug or fixable?

Cause when I’m putting it manually inside the href (like Open MS Edge) with the IE development tools and clicking on the button, opens up the Edge – like I want it to do.

I am running in circles and would be glad to hear from you!
    Thanks alot

Thanks for the good idea, I think Microsoft would like that too.

This is not a bug, but the URL did not allow anything other than “http”, “https”, etc. to make it harmless.

So in version 1.3, we have allowed URLs to be opened in Microsoft Edge. Update it and it should work as you wish.

    Enjoy!
