• I am trying to set certain categories of posts not to appear in the Related Posts feature. I have added them to “Categories to exclude from the results:” separated by commas. They are autofilling the category name, so I know I am typing them in correctly. However, even after saving, some of these are still appearing in the the Related Posts.

Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Do you have the cache enabled? If so, can you try to disable that.

Also, can you post a screenshot of the settings page you have and of the posts and what you’re expecting if the above didn’t work?

    Hi, thanks for your response.

Ok, so I did have cache enabled but I turned it off and it didn’t seem to help. I also cleared my browser cache and manually saved the plugin General Options and List Tuning options, but it isn’t working.

There is more than once place where this is a problem, but here is an example. I have the Coming This Week category listed as one to exclude, but it is showing up in this post: https://joyfullyjay.com/2018/05/subscribe-to-the-joyfully-jay-daily-digest/

Here is a screenshot of my plug in (sorry, wasn’t sure how else to upload an image). https://www.dropbox.com/s/8pcioly8ed81p67/Screenshot%202018-05-28%2014.17.22.png?dl=0

    Thanks! JJ

Are you in a position to do some debugging so I can see what query is being generated?

You’ll need to install Query Monitor plugin and then browse to your page above. From the top in your admin bar you’ll see an extra dropdown where you can view the Queries by caller. This opens a panel below your page and you can browse to find the ones related to CRP.
