    Hi,

Really love your plugin! But, in the next update, could you PLEASE remove all styling? In my opinion the plugin should add just functionality, not colors I have to override in my theme css…

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

You can remove all styling by deleting the call to the stylesheet file. If you know your way around CSS I think you will be able to do this, so then you can style it the way you want.

We will not remove the styling from the plugin of course because this is precisely why our users are using it. You get something that works without having to do the work yourself. This plugin really is for all WordPress users, not just for developpers.

I guess you can also find plugins with little or no styling, but then again, removing the stylesheet in our plugin is very easy to do from the main PHP file. It’s just an include.

Although I understand your point of view, I still think your styling interferes with theme styling in general. If you keep it like this, maybe you could add settings for all colors? Because the active tab color is now fixed as white, which is a problem if one sets the tab background to white. I have to override this with css, which for me is no problem. But for general users it might be easier to add an option to change this color as well.

As for deleting the include from your plugin’s php file, that is bad practice. The changes will be lost as soon you update the plugin.

Other than that, I still think it is a very nice, fast and easy to use plugin ??

    Hi there,

The plugin’s CSS do not interfere with the theme’s because the selectors are precise. It might be that the theme’s CSS are overwritting the plugin’s. For example, some themes will use wide selectors such as ′li a′, and this takes over the plugin’s basic styles.

If you have any issue with your styling you can reach us at https://wpdarko.com/ask-for-support, we will help you fix anything that doesn’t look like in the screenshots.
