omgf-additional-fonts-v1.1.3 is missing some fallback fonts in my case helvetica neue could only found helvetica. I would prefer to not be limited to one either. Normally you specify several like once you go system font only font-family: -apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,"Segoe UI",Roboto,"Helvetica Neue",Arial,"Noto Sans",sans-serif,"Apple Color Emoji","Segoe UI Emoji","Segoe UI Symbol","Noto Color Emoji"

Once enable fallback font where is it added to additional font css file? I can not see it’s added anywhere even if one is selected from settings and cache is emptied.

Helvetica Neue is used if it’s available, before Helvetica. This is the font stack: ‘”Helvetica?Neue”,?Helvetica,?Arial,?sans-serif’?.

    I know, I should document that ??

The plugin parses all enqueued stylesheets, rewrites any defined font-family attributes and then caches that stylesheet.

They’re all stored in the cache folder you specified under Advanced Settings.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Not following. So you say Helvetica Neue will be used and as fallback Helvetica? I could not even find it in the css so asking. No fallback at all.

Okay how come I don’t see any fallback font once you inspect a <p> or headline element. The css does not include any fallback so not sure it is working when using additional font plugin?

@daanvandenbergh any update on this one?

I think a field to manually insert would be ideal to have as well see example of a great list here to matching fonts https://help.campaignmonitor.com/email-builder-font-compatibility

But right now it doesn’t seem to work as it should?

    Hi Rookie,

Sorry about that! I’m working on a feature for Additional Fonts to replace Google Fonts detected by OMGF (Pro). If a font to replace is selected, the fallback font stack can be added.

At this point it doesn’t make any sense to use the Fallback Font Stack feature, because all Additional Fonts does is declare new @font-faces. And you can’t add a fallback font stack to a @font-face. So, that mistake is on me. I implemented it, without thinking it through if it could actually be used.

But anyway, new stuff is on the way ??
