OMG: WordPress 3.1 has deleted my Twenty Ten Theme?

My themes are fine but there will be a few, maybe we can save them time?

Problem:
“I just Upgraded to 3.1 and my ‘twenty ten’ theme changes are all gone, how can I get them back?”.

Answer:
The upgrade will have overwriten the “twenty ten” theme, if you do not have a backup, you could try your hosting company, if not then they are lost!

When you add back your changes create a child theme then next time they will not get over written, if you are not sure Google ‘How to create a WordPress Child Theme‘!

Just thought it may save some time ??
