OMG So many updates

    Sorry Iain – it should slow down now! The major 5.0 release had 11 new features and 36 other changes. Unsurprisingly, issues were found with some of them despite our testing as users had combinations, setups and conflicts that produced unforeseen situations (there are 1 million active users), so we’ve been releasing fixes to the ones that were urgent.

    But the flow of reports has dwindled now – we’re not aware of anything else that’s urgent. So life should be quieter now.

    Yes I know, I found some of the original problems with the recent major update.
    I checked the changelog and there were numerous entries saying that the function previously didn’t do anything. That’s not good.

    And issues with .htaccess. This is a serious problem. .htaccess!

    How bad was the plugin before the recent major update? I liked it, but apparently it didn’t actually do much. Ready to abandon ship.

    What do other users think?
