    Hi @comercialpiria

The issue is most likely caused by web server of your source website.
Please carefully follow the steps below for each site.

On the site where you made the backup:
    1. Go to our plugin settings and open “Other options” section
    2. Enable alternate download method: https://prnt.sc/1slr41w
    3. Save that section
    – No need to make new backup

Now, go to the site where you want to restore your backup:
    1. Open “Other options” section as well
    2. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    3. Save that section
    4. Force both processes to stop: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
    5. Try to run the migration again with the same URL

If that won’t work, please repeat the “force both processes to stop” step.
Once you do that, download your backup and try to upload it manually.

You can upload your backup via FTP, cPanel or our Upload Area.

Once you run the restoration, please make sure:
    a) Your PC won’t go into sleep-mode
    b) Screen-saver mode is not enabled or active
    c) [Mac] Drive-sleep mode is not enabled
    d) You have not run the restoration from Opera GX or Brave browser
    e) You don’t use any extension that limits resource usage or “saves energy”

Let me know if that solves your issue ??
    Thank you!

    Ps.:
It may be also caused by some security plugin or hosting security features.
In such case, mentioned alternate download method should help.

But in case it won’t, please visit your backup URL and check out what page it will display – it should give you some hint of what blocks it.

    Hi @comercialpiria

You mean you have removed the website where you stored the backup?
If it expired, you can try to contact your previous hosting provider.

Usually, they keep full backup of all your files up to 30 days after expiration.
You may try to ask them for it, it should contain backup file of our plugin.

Final reason of failure (logs above):
If the file does not exist, restore process can’t download it.

    Thanks for your interest.
I fixed everything and migrated successfully.
To be honest I don’t know exactly how I solved it. I certainly cleaned up the db with a plugin, then followed the backup plugin vendor’s instructions. but anyway they had not been satisfactory attempts, every time the system reported some small or large error. Then at the umpteenth attempt everything went very well and in a short time.
I do not know what to add, if not my greetings to all.
