Older Posts and /page/2 not working

  • Hello all,

    I hope someone can help me! Firstly, I have my webpage setup to have my portfolio as a static front page, displaying all featured images.

    My problem lies in that when I click on “Older posts” on the front page, the link points to /page/2, but when the page refreshes the URL displays just the .com with no /page/2 and the same images are shown.

    I’m not sure what is happening here, can someone please advise me!?

    Side note: at some point, I would love to integrate infinite scrolling on my portfolio/gallery. Can anyone give me insight on how to do this? Gallery plugin?
