"Older Post" link broken

  • I have a fairly new blog, so not many posts (but more than 1 page of them), but I just noticed today that my link to page 2 of my blog returns a 404.

    I like to keep my blog simple, so I have no mods installed (I’m pretty sure), and use a common theme (Desk Mess Mirrored). I just upgraded to the latest version of wp and the theme – still have the issue.

    And it is trying to go to page 2 at this location: https://www.andrewkyle.com/blog/page/2/

    Any thoughts?

    ps. It was a port over from another server (about 2 months ago), but I followed the pretty straight-forward instructions for moving a blog to a new server and have had no other problems.

    I am going to reply to my own problem… I changed the permalink setting to default and all is fine now. I probably had a permalink htaccess file on the old server that didn’t get ported over. I hope this helps anyone else who has run into a similar problem.
