Old version of site is live

  • Hi,

    I don’t use wordpress much. But, every year or two I update my wordpress portfolio. Then I have problems and I can’t remember how I did things the last time… I need help.

    Anyhow, my website is messed up. It looks like it’s showing an old version of the site and the theme is missing. Look here: https://www.sarahfisherdesign.com

    It should be showing this version of the site: https://www.sarahfisherdesign.com/2015/

    If I click anything from the homepage though, it’s also wrong and lacking the correct theme.

    I updated the wordpress theme in 2015 and I somehow directed the site to look at the “2015” folder. But, now it’s not working and I’m not sure how to fix.

  • Hello, Sarah, & welcome. Please change your index.php in the root of your html folder to look something similar to:
    require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . ‘/2015/wp-blog-header.php’ );
    assuming that your site is located in a folder called 2015. It’s the last line of the file. Please let us know if that helps, won’t you?
