  • We have more than 500,000 sites using our software and a small mistake can break connections between servers. That’s why we keep the current stable version which is secure and try the other release in waves (releasing to a bunch of users) to make sure it’s not breaking anything.

    I am sorry that you don’t encourage this practice, but we need to do this to make sure the software doesn’t break anything. Due to the nature of different hosts and WordPress plugins, we can never be sure that something breaks. So we do run releases in waves.

    But if there are any emergency issues we launch an update immediately.
