    Hi,

Why is the emailed site scan report still showing the old url/domain?

    The email shows

    Site Scan

The scheduled site scan found 11 issues when scanning?https://[old-domain].com. It’s getting the email subject correct though.

[[new-domain].com] Scheduled site scan report: Vulnerable Software

    Please help. Thank you!

Hi, were you able to find out why this is happening? Thanks!

Hi @webvizionph, I was able to replicate this on a local site, where I used a backup from a live site and restored it there.

Upon checking, it looks like this happens when transient data of the old Licensed URL is not being purged properly. On my end, I resolved it by clearing the transients that are holding unto that data.

Can you please try these steps and let me know if it works for you?

    1. Install transients manager plugin like this.
    2. Enable Debug using by following this guide.
    3. Look for transients similar to these and check if they contain the other URL:
      • _site_transient_it-updater-get_licensed_site_url-xxxxx
      • itsec-site-scanner-xxxxx (there could be two entries like this, so review their data to know which one is holding the other URL)
    4. Delete the above transients.
    5. Go to Security > Debug and run the malware-scan cron job.
    6. Check the new Site Scan result you receive in your email inbox.

Let me know if this works!
