    Hi

When we use this plugin, does it delete all old thumbnails that we can find only in uploads folders through FTP ?
I have more than 500 000 thumbnails in 95 folders (years and months) and i cant do this manually

    Thanks

The intent of this plugin is indeed to delete all thumbnails prior to regenerating the ones that are active/registered on the site.
It specifically looks for any files that are listed by WP in the attachment metadata, and then also does a low-level file scan for any files that match the typical image-123×456.jpg naming pattern.

So, custom thumbs generated by non-standard methods with non-standard naming schemes may not be removed.

Please be 100% sure you have a full-backup of your site prior to running a batch regen with FRT.

    Good Afternoon,

Great Plugin, about to run a batch on 10,000+ images as many of the filesizes are from old theme and are not needed anymore.

Just wanted to check if the image-scaled issue from WP 5.3 as mentioned in other support topic has been now fixed in latest upate.

@pbennion in the future, please start your own thread to ask a new question ??
But yes, the issue with scaled images has been fixed, so that all thumbs are cleaned up, and the new thumbs are derived from the original image (if available) rather than the scaled image.
