OLD Sidebar Template File Still Shows
-
I updated my sidebar template file, and it won’t show up on the blog. I’ve changed related things so that now with the old html showing, the Meta section is iffy.
I even deleted the file, and it still showed the old code, so it’s not an FTP or host problem, it seems. It’s referring to some old version that’s not even there, so…
I suspect some sort of cache issue. But I disabled the cache plugin (it was anyway, but I re-activated it) and it wasn’t turned on, and there was no cache listed, but I cleared it with the plugin interface anyway.
I recently added the allowed memory fix snippet to wp-inclues/cache.php but I also set cache to false in there, but I tried setting it back to true (didn’t work and put it back to false). I also at this time ran into that error when I went to my plugins page (to see if wp-cache was enabled) and I had to up the number after that to view my plugins.
I also just tried setting the “expiration time” really low, to no avail.
Now just before noticing this, I added something to another sidebar template file (I have two sidebars for most pages, 1 and 2, I added something to sidebar1) and this shows up fine! (Which is good, it’s a member badge that needed to be added.)
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Any help?
*Update* I just cleared Firefox’s browsing history and cache, still showed old sidebar. Then I tried IE (as I did before, too) and it’s worse, it shows a broken image. Which I cannot fix, because I needed to get RID of that, not try to SHOW it.
