Old redirect htm page

  • I am currently using an old version of WP, 3.0.4. Years ago I installed WordPress myself and used GoLive software to set up index.htm to auto redirect visitors to my WordPress blog: (<meta http-eqiv=”REFRESH” content…). WordPress is currently in my directory inside the “web” folder. I want to remove the index.htm redirect page and have visitors go directly to the blog, I no longer want to use the “/blog” after the domain name. How is this change done? I need to upgrade, way past due! Thank you
