If I want to install you plugin (Yoast SEO), so, I have more than 8.000 posts (articles) in my website, When I’m using other plugins.

Now, what about this posts with the focus keyword?

It’s impossible to add the focus keyword to all those articles. What’s the solution? Should focus keyword be added?

Yoast SEO doesn’t add any SEO data automatically. This means you’ll need to manually add the focus keyphrase if you’d like to optimize all of your contents on your site.

You mean that I need add focus keywords to 8.000 posts ‘manually’?

I need 3 years?? to do that.

We suggest you start optimizing the most important posts.

If you already have SEO data from your previous SEO plugin, we have a feature request to add an option to import SEO data from CSV file to make it easier to optimize large amounts of posts without the need of editing every post individually. You can view the feature request here.

My current SEO plugin doesn’t have “focus keyword” option, so, what’s the benefit of this step?

Using a focus keyword (or keyphrase) evaluates the page’s content and provides feedback on how to improve the content for that specific focus keyphrase (while you are editing or composing a post). It’s a guide on how you can optimize your post for that specific keyword that you want your post to rank for.

Yes, I understand that, but I have 100 articles about the flu “for example”, 50 for Hosni Mubarak and 50 for Afghanistan, etc.

How to put a unique word for each article, impossible, even if we used long words “words”.

In addition, my question is: What is the benefit of import SEO data from the old plugin to your plugin ?

If adding a single word for the focus keyphrase on your site is hard, you can use long tail keywords for separate pages on your site.

On the other hand, importing SEO data from 3rd party SEO plugins to Yoast SEO saves your time and prevent adding SEO data to your existing pages again. That’s the benefits.

OK. That way will add a focus keyphrase to all my old posts ?

If the 3rd party SEO plugin has focus keyphrases for old content and that field can be imported into Yoast SEO, the old posts would have focus keyphrases.

Otherwise, adding the focus keyphrase is a manual process.

    Closed. No further concerns.
