• Upgrade to 5.3 was a disaster. Still not sure what is going on with the tables upon upgrade (there are now two sets yop and yop2, they have different structures, etc.). In any case, upon upgrade, some 200 polls disappeared from my site. I restored version 4.9.3 as was suggested in another thread, and now at least the shells of my polls are present. I also pulled in a backup of the logs, but still I can only see the poll shells on my site, not the results.

On the back end, I can see the results of each poll, and can click the logs and see every vote. But the votes just don’t render on the front end.

You may recall I had the same problem during my ill-fated beta trial of the Pro version. ?? Just now I can’t figure out how to reconnect the dots.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I’ve managed to restore everything through a series of semi-manual steps, but you guys seriously need to offer a better migration plan from your old code base to your new one so that users don’t lose the ability to display all of their old polls. Or if the capability does exist, then please explain it better!

Was very surprised to see the ability to import WP-Polls polls into YOP (which is AWESOME as someone who created nearly 150 of them — closed but still occasionally visited — and would love to consolidate onto one platform), yet I cannot even import my old YOP polls into the new YOP.

If I am missing something that you think could resolve the migration problem, please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hello

We’ve tried to make the transition as easy as possible for user.
But there are so many configurations that’s almost impossible not to have any issues.

Please contact us at yop.help{at}gmail.com so we may assist with the migration process.
