Old photos in 'Auto Backup' not appearing, and photos are in reverse order

Thanks for your feedback. To help you, I need some more information:

1) How many photos do you have in Auto Backup (approx.)? How many photos are appearing in the Auto Backup folder?
2) Where are the photos in reverse order? On the blog page or in the photo browser?
2a) If the photos are shown in reverse order on the blog page, what is your setting regarding the order of the pictures within an album?

1, Maybe more than 10000, I don’t know, But I’ve been saving my phones photos there since about 6-7 years. About 1000 is showing.
2, In the photo browser, the photos on the top are taken at Jun 27 (2015) and the photos on the bottom are taken at Aug 19.
Photos from Aug 20-21-23 are missing, also older photos are missing.

Also crop to square is not working for me in the browser.
For an album with about 300 photos, it shows great, Top pictures are the newest, bottom are the oldest. (crop to square not working but it’s not a big problem)

I’ve made a new album and it’s also not showing up.

I did a little bit of investigation in this issue and here are my findings:

1. Google does not allow more then 1000 pictures within one API query, so albums with more than 1000 pictures will be capped to 1000 pictures. You’ll have to create a special album in google photos if you want to select pictures that are older than your most recent 1000 pictures in your auto backup folder.
2. Your issue with photos missing from the 20-21-23 August and the missing new album seems to be related to a caching issue that I’ve now fixed with release 0.3.2. Can you give this version another try and check if you can now see the missing pictures?
