Old Page Appears on Creation of New Page

  • When I attempt to create a new page an old page that I deleted appears instead. I delete the page but when I author a new page it just comes back.

    At one point, I had assigned this as the default page for the blog to open on but have since deleted it and returned the open on option to first post.
