I’ve updated to version 3.0 of the plugin and have been using Postman to test sending xml data.

    You mention…
“With this in mind, it does mean that Broadbean will need to be notified of the change of posting URL so they can amend your feed to post jobs to the correct location.”

However the jobs seem to be successfully posted whether I post to the new endpoint…
    /wpbb/jobfeed/
    or the old endpoint…
    /?wpbb=broadbean

Does the plugin allow you to post to either endpoint or have I done something wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

You are correct in that both the old and new endpoints should load the plugins inbox file which is the file used to process the data to create a job.

However as we mentioned in the release notes the versions of the plugin are not compatible as much has changed.

Therefore even though the old endpoint will try to process the data it is likely that it will not work correctly.

    Thanks Mark,

Yes, I did need to make a number of changes to our site in order to be compatible with the new plugin. It looks like those changes were sufficient enough to work with both endpoints.

    Thanks for the info!
