    Hi

I’ve got this error if I try to edit an event that was created with the classic editor (in the past) if the Gutenberg editor is now active

Also, if I create an event with Gutenberg, switch to classic editor to edit a past event, and open again my newly created event because I needed to edit it, then I can’t open my newly created event in Gutenberg anymore.

Plus the UI is doing non-sense and is behaving like it was both, using the classic template and the block…

The real issue comes from the fact that one should now which event was created with gut embers and which with the classic editor, and switch the event calendar settings to the right one every time an edit has to be done.

Do you have any experience of that ?

A road tu update event created with the classic editor to the new editor ?

How are we supposed to handle this ?

    Thank’s in advance

    Regards

    Hi @jbonlinea,

Glad you reached out. We haven’t seen any reports like this so let’s narrow down the issue to see what could be causing the problem

First make sure the site is to the recommended settings:

    1. Exclude the plugins from cache/code minify as this can cause issues on the site: Check out the Caching Guide?for steps

    2. Use PHP 7.4 or 8.0. You may read more in the PHP 8 Support guide.

Afterwards, follow the steps in this Conflict Testing guide exactly as instructed to eliminate any possible conflicts from other sources. Install and use the WordPress 2020 theme for the best testing results

Please let us know how it goes.

    Best,
    Rob
