old event date updated on a correction

    I updated some past events (in 2015) to remove some inaccurate content from the event description. I made no other changes. I saved the event. The events were published for this year even though the event was in 2015. I had to go back in and make all those events “drafts” so the wouldn’t appear as new events. I couldn’t reset the year to the past.

    Can you advise what I did wrong?

    You didn’t do anything wrong. Dumb early design decision on my part to assume edits would always relate to current or future events.

    There’s a fix in release 5.1.9 that should allow you to correct the dates on those 2015 events.
