Had an issue with embed shortcodes showing up in preview site, so tried a few different variations.

Ended up with about 5 Calendly embeds showing up on the real site, can’t edit or delete them. Tried clearing cache, reinstalling plugin, etc. Pretty much out of ideas. Help please?

    Hi there,

Could you temporarily deactivate the plugin, then see if the shortcode texts are showing in those places?

If they are, can you try removing the shortcode texts(you could leave only one), and see if this resolves the issue?

    Thanks

Hi Shy, thank you for actually replying!

I had already tried the disabling and testing part – it wasn’t leaving a shortcode, it was just leaving a few embedded buttons.

Yes, tried removing all the afterwards too shortcodes – the buttons and calendar were still available. Kind of crazy, when I would inspect the website on a seperate tab it would still insist the Elementor Shortcode Section was still there even after deleting.

It’s fixed on its own today, so I’d assume it’s either a problem with Bluehost or Elementor since everything else worked as expected. It was fixed anyways, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!

    My pleasure. ??

The problem can actually come from either(or both) your hosting server, or Elementor.

Sometimes you can experience caching issues on Elementor which can be solved by either giving it time as you did, or following the suggestions here.

And for your hosting server, you can learn how to turn of caching on Bluehost here, or here, if you purchased their managed WordPress website plan.

    Thank you.

Cheers mate! Betting it’s server side – I’ll try using one of those methods if the issue pops again

    Thanks for your time
