    Hi all,

I have been using WordPress with 2 domains so far and without encountering any problems. Recently I have registered a new (third) domain and installed WordPress as software likewise my other domains. Since then my second domain is not reachable any longer (error message see below). Also my WordPress Account for this old domain is gone. It seems to me like I made a wrong step in the installation of WordPress for the third domain and thereby overwrote my old domain. To make it more clear I am providing all three of my domains here:

    caravan-stories.de [working all fine]

okami-shiatsu.com [ERROR: FORBIDDEN – You don’t have access…], WordPress account is not listed anymore.

la-manada.com [that’s my new domain, maintainance mode is turned on]

One additional information, I realised the problem when I was sending the link of https://www.okami-shiatsu.com to a friend and it linked automatically to la-manada.com! I hope someone can help restoring https://www.okami-shiatsu.com – thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @fitty,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble accessing your second domain after installing WordPress for your third domain. Based on the information you provided, it seems like you might have accidentally overwritten your old domain while installing WordPress for the new one.

To restore access to your old domain, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check if your domain is still registered with your domain registrar. If it is, you can try to connect it to your WordPress site by following the steps in this guide.

    2. If your domain is not registered with your domain registrar anymore, you can try to recover it by contacting your domain registrar’s support team.

    3. If you’re still unable to recover your old domain, you can try to create a new WordPress account for your second domain and connect it to your site. You can follow the steps in this guide to connect your domain to your WordPress site.

Regarding the issue of your friend being redirected to your new domain when they clicked on the link to your old domain, it’s possible that the URL redirection settings in your WordPress installation might have been changed. You can check your WordPress settings to see if there are any redirection rules set up that might be causing this issue.

    Hope this helps! ??

Please contact your hoster’s support team about the problem. WordPress itself cannot help with this.

@addweb-solution-pvt-ltd: ChatGPT thinks it’s a wordpress.COM project, but it’s not. Your answer is therefore wrong.

Thank you everyone who took the time to support me in this matter. I have contacted the hosting provider and indeed I made a mistake in the installation but they are able to restore the content of my other domain.
