Latest Theme Version 1.5 comes with a little bit outdated Bootstrap version 3.1.4. In this version the glyphicons do not work properly.
You need to update to bootstrap 3.3.4

I updated the Bootstrap version in Flat Bootstrap v1.6. However, I ended up adding so much to v1.6 that it needs more testing so hasn’t been released yet. Specifically it has Bootstrap v3.3.2 in it.

If you want to help test Flat Bootstrap v1.6, let me know. I could push the latest build of it to my github account for how to download from there. Its pretty stable. I’ve been running it on my production website for a while now.

Also, as a side note, if you are a Bootstrap guru… you could take my specific Bootstrap config file and use that to download the latest version of Bootstrap. Of course it wouldn’t be tested with the theme, but in general they are mostly fixing bugs within the 3.x builds. Be sure not to just grab the “stock” Bootstrap, though, because I’ve made a LOT of changes to it so that I don’t have to have even more CSS overrides within the theme.

Hi, couple of days ago Bootstrap v3.3.5 got published … containing bunches of fixes. What about releasing a “Flat Bootstrap 1.6 Beta” at Github and accepting Pull requests?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I’ve been absolutely slammed at work. If you still want me to push the current v1.6 to github, I’ll try to do it this weekend. Otherwise, you likely can safely download my custom Bootstrap config and override the one in v1.5. Just use the config.json file in the /bootstrap directory so that you have my custom colors, font sizes, etc.

Yes I think its good to publish resp provide an updated version. If you’re short on time (like me ?? good idea is publishing at Github with clear “Beta-Status-Tag” and the accepting pulls or accepting tickets on that version. Would be sad if your good work would silently die with time. Greetings from Germany

I’ve pushed v1.6 to github. The newer Bootstrap is in the development branch. I’m going to try to release it officially (www.remarpro.com) within a few weeks.
