Old backups not deleting

Same here. The last months I have been very disappointed with the performance. Due to some change of the file naming, old archives were not deleted. Since months I do this manually for dozens of clients. Bad, very bad. I love the plugin, and the support is awesome. However, please be careful not to break the former configurations. It’s ok for one or two installations. With 50 or more, it’s a nightmare.

Sane issue here, the old backups archives in the dropbox are not deleted and got the dropbox space filled up.

Can’t give you that access I’m afraid, but happy to run any tests that you think might help.

We still have problems with some sites. It’s really a pain in the neck. Is anything wrong with this archive name sytax?

The problems occured after the new archive tracking system was introduced.

I have the same problem. Do you still want access to one of our webs to solve it?

Can you delete the backups manually from the BackWPup Dashboard. Normally if you delete a backup there it should be deleted on Dropbox to. Please try it for testing only!

asisrodriguez Thats only for testing to see if it is possible to delete Backup on Dropbox via BackWPup interface. If its not possible that we can go to the next step finding a solution ??

I can delete archives from the dashboard interface. However, archives sometimes pile up in the dropbox account. I don’t see any pattern. With some installations everything work fine with others not so much.

And again: the problems occured after you introduced the new file tracking sytem.

What is the number value of your File deletion on BackWPUp -> Jobs -> your job -> To: Folder tab?
